Job summary

H-E-B is seeking a Customer Service Assistant to package groceries and help customers transport their purchases from the Store to their vehicles. You will assist with unloading merchandise, locating items, and stocking bag areas while maintaining store cleanliness.

The role requires the ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment and the lift of up to 55 lbs. Training on orientation and safety is provided.

Qualifications

• Must be able to work in a fast-paced retail environment and stay attentive to customers' needs.
• Completion of Company Orientation and Basics of Safety training (upon hire)

Responsibilities

• Package groceries and help customers transport their purchases from the store to their vehicles.
• Unloading merchandise from baskets and assisting customers at the point of purchase.
• Stocking and stocking check stand supplies; maintaining bag areas and store cleanliness.
• Return products to proper locations and keep work areas clean (mops, sweeps, dusting, vacuuming).
• Assist with trash collection, cart/basket movement, and department setup as needed.
