REMOTE WITH TRAVEL TO CUSTOMERS WITHIN SURROUNDING AREAS/STATES OF PHOENIX, AZ

The Customer Service Technician plays a vital role in ensuring the reliability and performance of LayerZero’s Power Systems, Inc. This position involves hands-on service, technical support, and customer interaction, both on-site and remotely. The ideal candidate will have strong electrical troubleshooting skills, a commitment to safety, and a customer-first mindset.

Requirements:

PRIMARY DUTIES:

  • Perform startup, commissioning, service, and preventive maintenance on LayerZero equipment:
  • Static transfer switches
  • Power distribution equipment
  • Remote power panels

Provide customer support while on site and via email and phone

Maintain timely and detailed service records in the LayerZero system

Provide emergency responses for critical incidents

Regularly scheduled time slots for 1-844-855-5977 LayerZero 24/7 incident response

EXPERIENCE, SKILLS & EDUCATION:

  • Service experience with electric power systems – Required.
  • Electrical and electronic troubleshooting skills – Required.
  • Ability to read diagrams and schematics – Required.
  • Familiarity with programming printed circuit boards via PC based programs – Required.
  • Safety awareness and electrical PPE knowledge – Required.
  • Associate degree in electrical field or electronics training from military service – Preferred.
  • Clean driving record – Required.
  • US Citizenship or C1 Permanent Alien status - Required.

WORK LOCATION:

  • Training to be conducted at LayerZero Headquarters in Aurora, Ohio.
  • Field service work at customer sites across the US and Canada. Travel is required.
  • Weekend or holiday work may be required.
