Job summary

U-Haul is seeking a Customer Service Representative in Houston, TX. You will be the face of a team-focused service culture, helping customers with rentals, equipment inspections, and product knowledge.

You’ll use smartphone-based U-Scan technology to manage rentals, move and hook up trucks, and ensure vehicles are clean and safe. Responsibilities include preparing invoices, returning equipment, installing hitches, and completing propane/forklift certifications offered during employment.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver's license and maintain a good driving record.
• High school diploma or equivalent is required.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers inside and outside a U-Haul center with products and services.
• Use U-Scan technology to manage rentals and inventory.
• Move and hook up U-Haul trucks and trailers.
• Clean and inspect equipment on the lot and check fluid levels.
• Answer questions and educate customers on products and services.
• Prepare rental invoices and accept equipment returns.
• Install hitches and trailer wiring; fill propane (certification offered).
• Drive a forklift (certification offered).
• Participate in ongoing U-Haul education through U-Haul University.
