Job summary

Centella is seeking a Healthcare Technology Solutions (HTS) Customer Service Engineer to maintain, install, update, and service multivendor medical imaging and related equipment in Southwest Florida, primarily in Lee or Collier County. You will support physicians, nurses, and technicians to keep essential life-saving technology running in a demanding healthcare setting.

The role requires an engineering background (Electrical/Biomedical) and multivendor experience, with a minimum of 4 years on

Qualifications

  • Electrical or Biomedical Engineering degree or equivalent Field Service Engineer experience on medical imaging systems.
  • Multivendor experience, preferably Siemens, GE, and Philips.
  • Minimum of 4 years' experience on Philips Cardiac/Angio.
  • OEM training is highly preferred.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Interact with customers professionally to resolve service issues.
  • Repair diagnostic imaging, therapy, computer, and network systems at customer sites.
  • Perform planned maintenance and equipment modifications with minimal supervision.
  • Complete required documentation promptly and legibly.
  • Install equipment including uncrating, interconnecting cabling, and calibration.
  • Pick up and manage parts, return defective items, and document usage.
  • Assume after-hour on-call duties as scheduled.
  • Work overtime as needed during on-call weeks.
  • Expand knowledge by field assignments across various equipment.
  • Follow safety, regulatory, and company procedures at all times.
  • Ensure accurate entry of service orders into the software system.

As a Healthcare Technology Solutions (HTS) Customer Service Engineer (CSE) at Centella, you interact with physicians, nurses, and technicians. The HTS Customer Service Engineer is responsible for maintaining, installing, updating, and servicing GE and Philips equipment. This allows our customers to focus on what is most important, the patient!

Job Summary

The Healthcare Technology Solutions HTS Customer Service Engineer is responsible for maintaining, installing, updating, and servicing Multivendor Equipment in Southwest Florida. This individual must preferably reside in Lee or Collier County and will work throughout Centella’s West Coast Florida territory.

Main Duties and Responsibilities
  • Interact with Customers (internal and external) in a courteous and professional manner to solve the assigned service issues.
  • Repair of systems, including diagnostic imaging systems, therapy systems, computer systems, and clinical network systems at customer sites, utilizing available resources including other HTS CSE's knowledgeable in the specific modalities.
  • Perform planned maintenance and equipment modifications on a timely basis with minimal supervision.
  • Complete required documentation on a timely and legible basis as requested.
  • Installation of equipment which may include uncrating, inventory, mechanical assembly, interconnecting cabling, electrical and mechanical calibrations, and adjustments, all testing required for successful equipment turnover to customer, and all paperwork required by manufacturer, local, regional, national, and international regulatory agencies.
  • Responsible for picking up parts ordered for assigned jobs, returning defective or unused parts, and documenting parts used per company policy and procedure.
  • Takes after-hour calls on a rotating basis according to the annual on-call schedule.
  • Work overtime as necessary during on-call weeks and at other times as required.
  • Through field assignments, continuously improve and expand knowledge and expertise in repairing and servicing a variety of equipment.
  • Be a safe and courteous driver always.
  • Follow regulatory, safety, and work procedures always.
  • Ensure accurate entry of all service orders into the software system.
Qualifications
  • Electrical Engineering degree, Biomedical Engineering degree, or equivalent Field Service Engineer experience servicing, but not limited to medical imaging systems (MRI, AX/X-ray, Ultrasound, etc.)
  • Must have multivendor experience (Preferred in Siemens, GE, and Philips).
  • Minimum of 4 years' experience working on Philips Cardiac/Angio.
  • OEM trained is highly preferred.
  • Must have excellent customer service skills and good oral communication.
  • Basic math functions and reasoning ability are required.
