Job description

This position works closely with wholesale and retail customers to determine their needs, answer questions about Sherwin-Williams products, and recommend solutions. The role also involves delivering products to customers from Sherwin-Williams stores in a safe and timely manner using company vans or pick-up trucks.

Job duties include contact with customers, which may involve minors; and access to cash, electronic equipment, personal information, store merchandise, and other valuables. Access may be supervised or unsupervised. The company reviews criminal history to protect its operations, reputation, and the safety of customers, staff, employees, vendors, contractors, and the public.

The selected individual will work at Store #708499, located at 115 SE Emigrant Pendleton, OR 97801. This is a PART-TIME position with a starting pay of $17.91 per hour.

• Ensure high customer satisfaction through excellent sales service.
• Assist customers in person and over the phone by determining needs and presenting appropriate products and services.
• Process sales transactions accurately according to policies and procedures.
• Achieve sales goals on a monthly, quarterly, and yearly basis.
• Maintain precise work order files and formulas.
• Pull products from the sales floor or warehouse.
• Tint and mix products to customer specifications.
• Load, transport, and deliver items to customers safely and promptly.
• Assist with loading and unloading items from vehicles.
• Maintain the store vehicle and report repair needs.
• Follow assigned routes and adhere to schedules.
• Comply with all laws, traffic regulations, and safety procedures when driving.
• Prepare reports related to deliveries.
• Operate equipment such as cars, trucks, forklifts, etc.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Legally authorized to work in the country without sponsorship now or in the future.
• Valid, unrestricted Driver's License.
• Ability to retrieve materials from shelves and lift/carry up to 50 lbs. frequently and 70 lbs. occasionally.
• Willing to work scheduled hours, including evenings and weekends, with or without reasonable accommodation.

Preferred Qualifications:

• High School diploma or GED.
• At least one year of experience in delivery, retail, or customer service.
• Experience selling paint and related products.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate in more than one language, including Spanish.
