Job summary

The Sherwin-Williams Company is seeking a Part-Time Delivery Driver for Store #3142 in Clinton, IA. You will deliver products to customers from Sherwin-Williams stores and assist customers with product needs. Starting pay is $16.26 per hour, based on experience.

You must be at least 21, have a valid driver's license, and be able to lift up to 70 lbs. Some evening and weekend hours may be required. This role involves customer interaction, cash handling, and operating store vehicles and equipment;

Qualifications

• Preferred: 1 year delivery/retail/customer service experience.
• Preferred: experience selling paint.
• Preferred: ability to read/write Spanish.

Responsibilities

• Assist with loading/unloading items from vehicles.
• Maintain store vehicle and report repairs as needed.
• Adhere to assigned routes and time schedules.
• Operate vehicles and equipment such as cars, trucks, forklifts.
• Prepare reports and delivery-related documents.

The individual selected for this role will be expected to work at Store #3142, located at: 2010 Lincolnway, Clinton, IA 52732

This is a Part-Time job

Starting Pay: $16.26/hr OR based on relevant experience

This position works closely with wholesale and retail customers to determine their needs, answer their questions about Sherwin-Williams products, and recommend the right solutions. In this position, you will also be responsible for delivering products to customers from Sherwin-Williams stores in a safe and timely manner using Company vans or pick-up trucks.

Job duties involve contact with customers, which may include minors; and access to cash and other payment methods, electronic equipment, personal information, store merchandise and other items of value, and such access may be supervised or unsupervised. • Operate equipment and machines, such as cars, trucks, forklifts, etc.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must be at least twenty-one (21) years of age
• Must be legally authorized to work in the country of employment without needing sponsorship for employment work visa status now or in the future
• Must have a valid, unrestricted Driver's License
• Must be able, with or without reasonable accommodation, to retrieve material from shelves and floor stacks and lift and carry up to 50 lbs. frequently and up to 70 lbs. on occasion.
• Must be willing to work all scheduled hours, which may include evenings and weekends, with or without reasonable accommodation
• If internal to Sherwin-Williams, you must have received at least a "meets expectations" (3) rating on your most recent performance appraisal
• If internal to Sherwin-Williams, you must have completed all HR Cloud eLearning courses required for your current position

Preferred Qualifications:

• Have at least a High School diploma or GED
• Have at least one (1) year of experience working in a delivery, retail, or customer service position
• Have previous work experience selling paint and paint-related products
• Ability to read, write, comprehend, and communicate in more than one language
• Ability to read, write, comprehend, and communicate in Spanish
