Medical Center Health System seeks a detail‑oriented staff member to help ensure patient accounts are resolved promptly. The role involves understanding medical billing processes, admissions/registration flow, and receivables management within a clinical finance environment.

The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or equivalent, strong math and communication skills, and the ability to work calmly under pressure while using standard office software and equipment.

Qualifications

• Education: High School diploma or equivalent.
• Experience: Prior experience in medical field preferred; knowledge of admitting/registration, receivables management, billing regulations, insurance benefit calculations, HMO/PPO contracts, third party funding resources.
• Job knowledge: General knowledge of medical business office practices; strong communication skills; basic understanding of business application software; ability to stay calm under stressful conditions; good math skills, deductive reasoning and general office machine operations.

Knowledge of but not limited to admitting/registration process, receivables management, credit and collection laws, billing forms, medical billing regulations, insurance benefit calculations, HMO/PPO contracts, third party funding resources
• Job Knowledge: General knowledge of medical business office practices. Strong communication skills. Basic understanding of business application software. Ability to maintain calm temperament under stressful conditions. Good math skills, deductive reasoning and general office machine operations.
