Job description

Job Summary:

  • To provide general assistance and support to the Outside Sales team to enable them to efficiently manage their sales account activities.

Responsibilities:

  • Acquiring and developing product, Company and industry knowledge by self-tuition, and attending training courses that are identified.
  • Assisting in developing sales opportunities and maintaining a high Company profile
  • Processing and managing sales orders.
  • Generate sales order schedules from templates when required by customer.
  • Maintaining regular and frequent contact with customers by Outside Sales.
  • Promoting and providing continuous and effective after-sales support.
  • Liaising with other departments with regard to pertinent day to day operations and orders in hand. This will include progress reporting, monitoring of shipping / logistics, preparation and expediting of sales orders, shipping instructions, and invoicing.
  • Generating request documentation for procedures and service manuals, and liaising with service department and customers to ensure correct and timely availability of manuals / procedures.
  • Sourcing drawings, technical information, and data as required.
  • Liaising with Aftermarket on customer requirements for customer property or rental tools.
  • Participating in production meetings sales order review meetings.

Requirements:

  • 3-5 years of Customer Service / Order processin experience in the Manufacturing sector
  • Good general IT skills including working knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Good administration and time management skills
  • Diploma / Degree in any discipline
  • Willing to work in Tuas (Transport provided from Jurong East / Choa Chu Kang
  • Preferably from OIL & GAS Industry
