Kroger is hiring at our Arvada, CO location for a part-time or full-time Bagger/Courtesy Clerk. You will greet customers, assist at the checkout, and ensure a fast, accurate checkout experience while following store policies and safety guidelines.

Qualifications

• Ability to handle stressful situations.
• Knowledge of basic math (counting, addition, subtraction).
• Prior experience as a Bagger or Courtesy Clerk.

Responsibilities

• Greet, engage, and assist customers.
• Process customer transactions quickly, accurately, and efficiently at the check lane.
• Understand and operate the POS system and handle tenders and coupons according to policy.
• Adhere to cash handling limits and loss prevention guidelines.
• Follow policies for restricted sale items (alcohol, tobacco, DVDs).
• Report pricing discrepancies to the Scan Coordinator and stay current with ads and promotions.
• Follow safety and food safety regulations and identify unsafe conditions.
