Job summary

United Supermarkets, LLC is hiring a Customer Service Clerk to provide high-quality service at the front desk, operate electronic registers, and assist with loyalty programs and discounts.

You will handle money orders, lottery tickets, wire transfers, refunds, and gift cards while keeping the desk area clean and well-stocked. This role requires strong communication, multitasking, and reliability in a fast-paced store environment.

A Day In The Life

As a Customer Service Clerk, you will be responsible for providing high-quality customer service in accordance with our company's standards and policies. Your role will involve operating electronic scanning cash registers, receiving payment for customer purchases, honoring discounts and coupons, assisting customers with Loyalty Program questions or sign-ups, and bagging items. You will also operate machines to sell money orders, lotto tickets, and transfer funds by wire, process customer returns, sell gift cards and lotto tickets, and handle other transactions as needed. Additionally, you will maintain cleanliness of the Customer Service Desk and front area of the store, replace stock in display areas, and adhere to the uniform and grooming policy.
