About the Role

Mollie Stone's Market is seeking a part-time Apprentice Cashier at our Grand Central location. The ideal candidate will be customer service-oriented and flexible to handle various tasks daily.

Essential Functions

1. Processing sales at the register, scanning items accurately, and identifying produce items.
2. Bagging groceries and providing carry-out service if needed.
3. Retrieving baskets and carts for the store.
4. Performing clean-up and general housekeeping duties.
5. Providing exceptional customer service and assisting with customer inquiries.
6. Maintaining knowledge of weekly ad items and directing customers to product locations.
7. Restocking inventory, conducting price checks, and returning products to proper shelves.

Minimum Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Detail-oriented.
• Ability to provide exceptional customer service.
• Ability to learn new technology.
• Willingness to train and work in other store areas as needed.
• Availability to work various shifts, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and some holidays.

Physical Requirements

• Must be able to regularly lift at least 50 lbs.

Additional Requirements

• Standing: Up to 8 hours per day.
• Walking: Up to 6 hours per day.
• Reaching: Up to 4 hours per day.

Note: Covid-19 PPE may be required as per company policy.
