Position Summary

We are actively seeking highly energetic individuals excited to promote all that Super Star Car Wash's full-service locations have to offer. The primary responsibility of the cashier (customer service representative) will be obtaining payment for goods by scanning items, itemizing, and totaling customer purchases. During downtime, light shelf stocking may be required.

Essential Duties/Tasks/Responsibilities

• Itemizes and totals purchases by recording prices, departments, taxable and nontaxable items; operating a cash register.
• Enters price changes by referring to price sheets and sale bulletins.
• Applies discounts by redeeming coupons.
• Collects payments via cash, check, or credit card; makes change for cash transactions.
• Verifies credit acceptance by reviewing driver’s licenses and operating credit card systems.
• Balances cash drawer at the beginning and end of each shift.
• Provides pricing information and answers customer questions.
• Maintains checkout operations following policies and procedures; reports needed changes.
• Ensures a safe and clean environment in compliance with regulations.
• Contributes to team efforts by accomplishing related results as needed.
• Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Job Requirements

• Previous cashiering experience
• High School Diploma or GED
• Must be at least 21 years old
