Job summary

Chedraui USA in Reno, NV is seeking a Service Clerk – 585 Reno to support customers and keep the store orderly. You will maintain carts, assist customers with purchases, and provide help to vehicles as requested.

The role includes price checks, restocking, and maintaining clean facilities. Lifting up to 60 lbs is required; English language skills are needed for daily interactions. Benefits are available.

Qualifications

• Read and write English, interact with the general public and co-workers.
• Read and comprehend simple instructions, product labels, pricing codes, shelf tags, memos.
• Write simple correspondence.
• Present information clearly in one-on-one or small group settings to customers, clients, and other employees.
• Follow written or oral instructions with common sense.
• Regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, frequently up to 45 pounds, occasionally up to 60 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Maintain carts, assist customers with purchases and assist to their cars as requested.
• Check prices on products, return merchandise to store shelves, parking lot and store maintenance.
• Collect and organize shopping carts within the store and retrieve carts from the parking lot and surrounding areas.
• Assist customers with loading of merchandise into shopping carts and loading of their vehicles.
• Check retail prices on shelf for check stand personnel.
• Pull merchandise from check stand and return it to the proper shelf; walk aisles and return misplaced items.
• Monitor cleanliness of store entrance: sweep front area inside and outside, pick up and empty trash, mop outside walkways and clean doors daily.
• Monitor cleanliness of store throughout the day: sweep, mop, clean and restock restrooms as needed.
