Job Description

Customer Service/Call Center Specialist that possesses basic accounting knowledge, is a self-starter willing to learn and grow, has strong analytical skills, and is committed to excellence and high standards. The ideal candidate should be organized, detail-oriented, and customer service focused. Must be able to learn quickly, work independently, multi-task, and produce accurate results.

Job Responsibilities:

  1. Answer calls and resolve customer issues
  2. Log issues and problems
  3. Dependability and a strong work attendance record are essential
  4. Collaborate with team members and management to achieve department goals and maintain service levels
  5. Escalate urgent customer concerns promptly
  6. Experience in mortgage loans or banking is desirable

Experience/Training:

  • Minimum one year of experience in a call center, financial services, or similar role
  • Familiarity with Fair Debt Collection Practices, Telephone Consumer Protection Act, Consumer Financial Protection Laws, and Privacy Laws is preferable

Skills and Abilities:

  • Passionate about providing high-quality customer care
  • Computer literate with at least 2 years of experience using MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, etc.)
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Assess issues and apply appropriate urgency
  • Communicate feedback effectively and present observations, trends, and recommendations to peers and management

Compensation:

- Hourly pay rate of $18.16 plus $4.57 for personal insurance coverage

- Successful completion of a federal background check, including criminal background, drug test, credit check, and fingerprinting, is required
