Job summary

PeopleShare by PROMAN is hiring a Seasonal Customer Service Representative to support a museum's retail and e-commerce operations in a fast-paced environment. The role involves assisting customers by phone, email, and other channels, and processing orders and refunds.

This is an on-site position in Matawan, NJ, with a schedule Monday–Friday 9am–5pm. The contract is seasonal with mandatory Black Friday shifts and a December 5 overtime day. Strong attendance is essential.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of customer service, call center, retail, or related experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong problem-solving and conflict-resolution abilities.
• Ability to multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency with Email, Google Docs, and Microsoft Excel.
• Experience with Shopify, Zendesk, Teamwork, or other order management systems is a plus.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Professional demeanor and customer-focused attitude.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with product, order, and account inquiries via phone, email, and other communication channels.
• Provide order status updates, order modifications, purchase history, and account information.
• Resolve customer concerns, complaints, and product-related questions in a professional and timely manner.
• Process refunds, exchanges, replacements, and promotional coupon transactions.
• Build strong customer relationships through exceptional service and effective communication.
• Stay informed on product inventory, promotions, exhibitions, and events.
• Ensure all customer transactions are accurately completed and documented.
• Collaborate with team members to maintain a positive customer experience.

Two Classes : 11/2 OR 11/9

Important Requirements

• Must be available to work mandatory Black Friday shifts.


• Must be available to work Saturday, December 5th from 9:00 AM - 1:00 PM (overtime opportunity).


• Due to the busy holiday season, no planned time off can be taken from the start of training through the end of the year.


• Reliable attendance is essential throughout the assignment.
