Job summary

Training will be provided at store level. The role requires reliable attendance, the ability to lift up to 50 pounds, and working on feet for 4–8 hours. Internal candidates with tenure may be preferred and may require manager approval for interviews.

Qualifications

• Six months employment with Schnucks preferred for Store/Facility Teammates
• One year employment with Schnucks preferred for Store Support Center Teammates
• Must be in good standing (not on a performance improvement plan or active discipline)
• If invited for an interview, must have manager approval based on performance

Responsibilities

• Provide friendly and courteous service to customers
• Regular, reliable attendance is an essential function of the job.
• Place customers' purchases into bags
• Place filled bags in cart
• Carry customers purchase to cars
• Retrieve carts from parking lot
• Pick up paper and debris in the store, from parking lot, and from carts
• Stock bags on check stands
• Empty trash from check stands and service center
• Sweep and mop floors
• Return merchandise left at check-out to shelves
• Read and understand shelf tags
• Verify prices of merchandise
• Other duties may be assigned at the discretion of the store management
