Job summary

AVI Foodsystems is seeking an energetic and optimistic leader for the role of Customer Service Attendant Supervisor in Akron, OH. This full-time position covers Monday–Friday day shifts with occasional weekend work, and includes a company vehicle for travel to branches and accounts.

Responsibilities

• Assist in training and development of team members.
• Interview applicants for Customer Service Attendant positions to maintain staffing levels.
• Review inventory and waste levels and make recommendations.
• Prepare Inventory Report Card evaluations and discuss with team members.
• Complete monthly inventory action plans for team members.
• Generate management reports to ensure profitability at accounts.
• Verify and sign off on timecards.
• Visit accounts and meet with account representatives.
• Lead and assist on projects from Operations/Branch Manager.
• Move objects up to 40 pounds during training at accounts.

HEADQUARTERS SERVICE CENTER

Our Headquarters Service Center serves as the main support for all AVI operations throughout the United States. Departments include accounting, administration, finance, human resources, marketing, procurement, risk management, training and development, wellness and much more.

AVI Foodsystems is looking for an energetic and optimistic leader to fill the role of Customer Service Attendant Supervisor.

This is a full-time position in Akron, OH. Monday - Friday, day shift with occasional weekend work. A company vehicle will be provided.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Assists in the training and development of team members.
• Interviews applicants for Customer Service Attendant positions to maintain necessary staffing levels.
• Reviews inventory and waste levels of accounts and makes recommendations.
• Prepares Inventory Report Card evaluations, reviews these with team members, and takes necessary disciplinary action monthly
• Completes monthly inventory action plans for team members
• Generate reports for management to ensure profitability at accounts.
• Verifies and signs off on timecards.
• Visits accounts and meets with account representatives.
• Leads and assists on projects assigned by the Operations Manager or Branch Manager
• Lifts, carries or otherwise moves objects weighing up to 40 pounds while training and assisting at accounts.
• Walks, bends, crouches, and climbs stairs.
• Operates and maintains company-owned vehicle in a safe manner; to be used for the purpose of traveling to branches and accounts.
• Performs other duties as specified by management.

Requirements:

• Inspects accounts weekly to ensure machines are clean, filling, and operating correctly.
• Recruits, trains and retains team members.
• Develop succession plans.
• Operates accounts within labor guidelines.
• Maintains team member inventory percentages, direct labor costs, waste percentages, inventory levels, and consumption.
• Attend weekly staff meetings.
• Addresses customer inquiries/complaints within 24 hours.
• Following all safety requirements at accounts, which may include personal protection equipment such as hard
  hats, safety glasses, ear protection, etc.
