Job summary

AVI Foodsystems is seeking a friendly, part-time Customer Service Attendant Merchandiser in Shippensburg, PA. The role runs Tue, Fri, Sat and Sun from 9am to 2pm, delivering engaging service and well-merchandised displays.

You will receive deliveries, stock products, rotate items, monitor inventory, and maintain clean merchandising areas, while building positive client relationships and upholding food-safety standards.

Responsibilities

AVI Foodsystems is looking for a friendly and hard-working team member to fill the role of Part-time Customer Service Attendant Merchandiser. This position is located in the Shippensburg, PA area. This position will work Tuesday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday, 9am - 2pm.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Receive and organize deliveries of merchandise, including soft drinks, bakery products, snacks, specialty foods and other foodservice products at client locations.
• Merchandise products according to established standards, ensuring shelves, coolers, vending machines and/or market displays and designated product areas are fully stocked, organized and visually appealing.
• Rotate merchandise and remove expired, damaged or stale products.
• Ensure refrigerated and perishable products are properly stored and maintained.
• Maintain attractive, clean and organized product displays and merchandising areas.
• Monitor product assortment and communicate inventory needs, shortages and customer preferences.
• Provide friendly, professional customer service and maintain positive client relationships.
• Follow all food safety, sanitation and merchandising standards.
