Job summary

AVI Foodsystems is seeking a friendly and hard-working team member for the role of Customer Service Attendant, Part-Time in the Jefferson Hills, PA area. This position supports daily operations and interaction with clients.

Responsibilities include receiving deliveries, merchandising, maintaining displays, and providing excellent customer service while following safety standards. Pre-employment drug testing is conducted; EOE.

Qualifications

• Outgoing personality with the ability to promote products.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent organization and time management skills.
• Strong speaking skills with customers and employees.
• Ability to perform calculations in common units (whole numbers, fractions, decimals).

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Receive and organize deliveries of merchandise, including soft drinks, bakery products, snacks, specialty foods and other foodservice products at client locations.
• Merchandise products according to established standards, ensuring shelves, coolers, vending machines and/or market displays and designated product areas are fully stocked, organized and visually appealing.
• Rotate merchandise and remove expired, damaged or stale products.
• Ensure refrigerated and perishable products are properly stored and maintained.
• Maintain attractive, clean and organized product displays and merchandising areas.
• Monitor product assortment and communicate inventory needs, shortages and customer preferences.
• Provide friendly, professional customer service and maintain positive client relationships.
• Follow all food safety, sanitation and merchandising standards.
