Job summary

AVI Foodsystems is seeking a friendly, dependable individual for a part-time Customer Service Attendant role in a food service setting. The position follows a Monday–Friday schedule and involves stocking, merchandising, and assuring product quality at client locations.

You will interact with customers and team members, handle merchandise rotations, and maintain sanitation standards while contributing to a positive, family-like work atmosphere. Training is provided.

Responsibilities

• Receive and organize deliveries of merchandise at client locations.
• Merchandise products and maintain stocked, visually appealing displays.
• Rotate merchandise and remove expired or stale products.
• Ensure proper storage of refrigerated and perishable items.
• Maintain clean and organized product displays and merchandising areas.
• Monitor inventory needs and communicate shortages.
• Provide friendly, professional customer service and build client relationships.
• Follow all food safety, sanitation and merchandising standards.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Receive and organize deliveries of merchandise, including soft drinks, bakery products, snacks, specialty foods and other foodservice products at client locations.
• Merchandise products according to established standards, ensuring shelves, coolers, vending machines and/or market displays and designated product areas are fully stocked, organized and visually appealing.
• Rotate merchandise and remove expired, damaged or stale products.
• Ensure refrigerated and perishable products are properly stored and maintained.
• Maintain attractive, clean and organized product displays and merchandising areas.
• Monitor product assortment and communicate inventory needs, shortages and customer preferences.
• Provide friendly, professional customer service and maintain positive client relationships.
• Follow all food safety, sanitation and merchandising standards.
