Job summary

AVI Foodsystems is seeking a friendly and hardworking Customer Service Attendant to join our on-site team at client locations. You will greet customers, assist with product inquiries, organize merchandising, and ensure displays are attractive and stocked while maintaining food safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Receive and organize deliveries of merchandise at client locations.
• Stock shelves, coolers, vending machines and market displays.
• Rotate merchandise and remove expired or damaged items.
• Ensure refrigerated and perishable products are stored properly.
• Maintain attractive displays and merchandising areas.
• Monitor inventory and communicate shortages and customer preferences.
• Provide friendly, professional customer service and maintain client relationships.
• Follow all food safety, sanitation and merchandising standards.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Receive and organize deliveries of merchandise, including soft drinks, bakery products, snacks, specialty foods and other foodservice products at client locations.
• Merchandise products according to established standards, ensuring shelves, coolers, vending machines and/or market displays and designated product areas are fully stocked, organized and visually appealing.
• Rotate merchandise and remove expired, damaged or stale products.
• Ensure refrigerated and perishable products are properly stored and maintained.
• Maintain attractive, clean and organized product displays and merchandising areas.
• Monitor product assortment and communicate inventory needs, shortages and customer preferences.
• Provide friendly, professional customer service and maintain positive client relationships.
• Follow all food safety, sanitation and merchandising standards.
