- Models and delivers a distinctive and delightful customer experience.
- Registers sales on assigned cash register, provides customers with courteous, fair, friendly, and efficient checkout service.
Customer Engagement
- Engages customers and patients by greeting them and offering assistance with products and services. Resolves customer issues and answers questions to ensure a positive experience.
- Shares customer service best practices with team members, including interpersonal habits (e.g., greeting, eye contact, courtesy) and Walgreens service traits (e.g., offering help proactively, identifying needs, servicing until satisfied).
Operations
- Provides courteous, friendly, fast, and efficient service.
- Recommends items for sale and suggests trade-up or companion products.
- Operates cash register, handles transactions, refunds, and exchanges.
- Keeps counters and shelves clean, merchandises products, takes inventory, and maintains records.
- Implements asset protection procedures to minimize profit loss.
- Ensures compliance with laws regarding regulated products (e.g., alcohol, tobacco).
- Builds and maintains displays, completes resets as directed.
- Assists with food product placement and stock rotation following policies.
- Maintains knowledge of store systems and equipment.
- Provides photo area services, including digital passport photos and promotional products.
- Handles web pick-up orders, monitors and delivers as needed.
- Supports store cleanliness and organization.
- Follows company policies, maintains respectful relationships, and completes assigned tasks.
Training & Personal Development
- Attends training sessions and completes required PPLs.
- Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English (except in Puerto Rico).
- Willing to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
