Job description

Customer Experience

• Engages customers and patients by greeting them and offering assistance with products and services. Resolves customer issues and answers questions to ensure a positive customer experience.
• Models and shares customer service best practices with team members to deliver a distinctive experience, including interpersonal habits (e.g., greeting, eye contact, courtesy) and Walgreens service traits (e.g., offering help proactively, identifying needs, servicing until satisfied).

Operations

• Provides courteous, friendly, fast, and efficient service.
• Recommends items for sale, including trade-up and/or companion items.
• Handles transactions at the cash register, including processing sales, voids, returns, rain checks, refunds, and exchanges.
• Maintains counters and shelves, takes inventory, and ensures proper pricing and merchandising.
• Implements asset protection procedures to minimize profit loss.
• Ensures compliance with laws regarding regulated products (e.g., alcohol, tobacco).
• Constructs and maintains displays, completes resets, and assists with product placement and stock rotation.
• Provides photo area services, including passport photos and promotional products.
• Assumes web pick-up responsibilities, monitors and fills orders, and delivers orders to customers.
• Maintains store cleanliness and appearance.
• Follows company policies, maintains respectful relationships with coworkers, and completes assigned tasks.

Training & Personal Development

• Attends training and completes required PPLs as directed.

Basic Qualifications

• Fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English (except in Puerto Rico).
• Willing to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.

Preferred Qualifications

• At least six months of retail experience.
• Prior experience with Walgreens is preferred.
