Responsibilities
- Models and delivers a distinctive and delightful customer experience.
- Registers sales on assigned cash register, provides courteous, fair, friendly, and efficient checkout service.
- Engages customers and patients by greeting them and offering assistance with products and services. Resolves customer issues and answers questions to ensure a positive customer experience.
- Recommends items for sale, including trade-up and/or companion items.
- Processes transactions, including voids, returns, rain checks, refunds, and exchanges.
- Keeps counters and shelves clean and well merchandised, takes inventory, and maintains records.
- Implements asset protection procedures to minimize profit loss.
- Ensures compliance with laws regarding regulated products.
- Constructs and maintains displays and completes resets as directed.
- Assists with food item separation and stock rotation.
- Provides customer service in the photo area and handles web pick-up responsibilities.
- Maintains store cleanliness and orderliness.
- Complies with company policies and maintains respectful coworker relationships.
- Completes special assignments as needed.
Training & Personal Development
- Attends training and completes required PPLs.
- Fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English (except in Puerto Rico).
- Willing to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
- Prefer six months of retail experience and prior Walgreens experience.
Additional Information
- Position is full-time with hourly pay between $15 and $17.50.
- Must be fluent in English and willing to work flexible hours.
