Job summary

Dollar Tree Stores INC in Illinois is seeking a part-time Customer Service Associate to deliver a friendly shopping experience. You will assist customers, handle transactions, stock shelves, and maintain store cleanliness. The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent and prior service experience.

You will work on the sales floor with a team and uphold safety and customer service standards. This position offers engaging daily interactions and opportunities to grow within the retail

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Previous customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store is highly preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents is required.
• Must be able to lift between 30 and 50 lbs. and handle frequent walking and standing.
• Excellent customer service and relationship management skills are required.
• Strong organizational and communication skills are required.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions while working assigned cash register.
• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets.
• Keep the store well-stocked, and recover merchandise.
• Receive merchandise and help with unloading trucks, stock replenishment.
• Ensure a positive, safe, and respectful environment with professional interactions.
• Maintain cleanliness throughout the store, including restrooms, floors, and trash.
• Other duties as assigned.
