Job summary

Family Dollar Stores Of Mississippi LLC is seeking a part-time Customer Service Associate to deliver a great shopping experience. You will assist customers, handle transactions, keep the store stocked, load/unload merchandise, and maintain a clean, safe environment for customers and colleagues.

The role emphasizes friendly interactions, teamwork, and adhering to store policies while supporting daily operations and merchandise replenishment at our Goodman location.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Retail/hospitality/food service or grocery experience preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and read operating documents.
• Must be able to lift 30–50 lbs and perform physical tasks.
• Excellent customer service, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions at the cash register.
• Maintain cash security and protect company assets.
• Keep the store stocked and recover merchandise.
• Receive merchandise and unload trucks, stock replenishment.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and respectful store environment.
