Dollar Tree Stores INC in Shepherdsville, KY is seeking a part-time Customer Service Associate to deliver a great shopping experience. You will assist customers with questions and recommendations, manage transactions at the register, and help keep the store stocked and presentable.

The role requires strong communication, reliability, and the physical ability to lift 30–50 lbs. You will work with leaders to maintain a safe, friendly environment and perform related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Retail or customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environment is highly preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operating documents is required.
• Must be able to lift between 30 and 50 lbs. from floor to above shoulder height and meet demands of frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing, pulling, and repetitive lifting.
• Strong organizational and communication skills are required.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions at the cash register.
• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets.
• Keep the store well-stocked and recover merchandise.
• Receive merchandise and help with unloading trucks; stock replenishment per productivity standards.
• Maintain cleanliness throughout the store, including bathrooms, floors, trash, and neat presentation.
