Job summary

Family Dollar Stores Of Ohio LLC is hiring a Customer Service Associate in Thornville, OH to provide friendly shopping experiences, assist customers, and handle transactions at the register. The role emphasizes accurate cash handling, replenishing stock, and maintaining a clean, safe store environment.

The successful candidate will lift 30–50 lbs, assist with unloading trucks, and interact professionally with customers and coworkers to support daily store operations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Previous customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environment is highly preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents is required.
• Must be able to lift between 30 and 50 lbs. from floor to above shoulder height and meet demands of frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing, pulling, and repetitive lifting.
• Excellent customer service and relationship management skills are required.
• Strong organizational and communication skills are required.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills are required.

Responsibilities
