Job summary

Dollar Tree Stores in Jacksonville, IL is seeking a part-time associate to help customers, process transactions, stock shelves, and maintain store cleanliness.

You will manage the cash register, protect cash and assets, and support a safe shopping environment while delivering friendly interactions with customers and team members.

High school diploma preferred; previous retail experience helps. Flexibility for weekends may be required and training is provided.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Previous customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environment is highly preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents is required.
• Must be able to lift between 30 and 50 lbs. from floor to above shoulder height and meet demands of frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing, pulling, and repetitive lifting.
• Excellent customer service and relationship management skills are required.
• Strong organizational and communication skills are required.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills are required.
