Job summary

Qualifications

Job description

Duties

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations
• Manage sales transactions while working assigned cash register
• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets
• Keep store well-stocked and recover merchandise
• Receive merchandise and help with unloading trucks, stock replenishment per productivity standards
• Ensure a positive, safe, respectful environment while maintaining professional, friendly interactions with customers, associates, leaders
• Maintain cleanliness throughout store: cleaning and restocking bathrooms, sweeping/mopping floors, taking out trash, ensuring neatness
• Other duties as assigned

Skills and Experience

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Previous customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, drug store environment highly preferred
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents required
• Must be able to lift between 30-50 lbs from floor to above shoulder height and meet demands of frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing, pulling, repetitive lifting
• Excellent customer service and relationship management skills required
• Strong organizational and communication skills required
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills required
