Customer Service Associate – Dollar Tree – Fullerton, CA – 221 Orangefair Mall, Fullerton, CA 92832-3038

Job Opening: Part time

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations
• Manage sales transactions while working assigned cash register
• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets
• Keep the store well‑stocked, and recover merchandise
• Receive merchandise and help with unloading trucks, stock replenishment in accordance with productivity standards
• Ensure a positive, safe, and respectful environment while maintaining professional and friendly interactions with customers, associates and leaders
• Maintain store cleanliness, including cleaning and restocking bathrooms, sweeping and mopping floors, taking out the trash, and ensuring all areas are neat and presentable
• Other duties as assigned

Skills & Experience

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Previous customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery or drug store environment highly preferred
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents required
• Must be able to lift between 30 and 50 lbs. from floor to shoulder height and meet demands of frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing, pulling and repetitive lifting
• Excellent customer service and relationship management skills required
• Strong organizational and communication skills required
• Strong problem‑solving and decision‑making skills required
