Legacy Emanuel Medical Center in North Portland is a key regional leader in serious clinical illness or injury, providing 24/7 expertise in trauma, heart care, burns, stroke, brain surgery, and more. It is a Level 1 Trauma Center, Regional Burn Center, and serves both adult patients and children through Randall Children’s Hospital.

The role involves performing general cleaning and housekeeping tasks to maintain patient rooms, care areas, offices, and hallways. Tasks include cleaning various materials such as carpets, upholstery, and floors, using appropriate equipment and chemicals.

Responsibilities

• Operate cleaning equipment safely and prepare cleaning chemicals.
• Apply correct cleaning procedures and chemicals.
• Maintain preventative maintenance on equipment.
• Follow security protocols when cleaning medication areas and refrigerators, respecting inventory control and security.
• Participate in process improvement activities.
• Perform other duties as required.

Qualifications

Ability to read, write, and perform math skills in English. Ability to relate to others with courtesy and tact, even under stressful conditions.

Pay Range

USD $17.98 - USD $24.34 per hour.
