Hop Shops in Carrollton, KY is seeking a Customer Service Associate (Cashier) to join our team. You will operate the cash register, process cash and card transactions, and help keep the store clean and organized to ensure a positive customer experience.

The ideal candidate has 1-2 years of customer service, is comfortable with POS systems and loyalty programs, and can stand for up to 8 hours while meeting safety protocols. Immediate start available.

Hop Shops, a division of Valor Oil, is looking for a Customer Service Associate (Cashier) role. The ideal candidate has strong communication skills, a positive attitude, and a commitment to excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment.

Pay: $15.00 hourly

Schedule: Multiple shifts available

Location: Carrollton, KY

Start date: Immediate

Responsibilities

• Operating the cash register.
• Handling cash and card transactions accurately.
• Maintaining store cleanliness.
• Restocking shelves as needed.

Requirements

• Must demonstrate a strong understanding of and commitment to safety protocols in the workplace.
• Familiarity with operating registers, computers, phones, tablets, and loyalty systems.
• Must be 20 years old in Kentucky (due to alcohol/tobacco sales) and 18 years old in Ohio.
• High school diploma or equivalent, with 1-2 years of customer service experience, preferably in a public-facing role.
• Ability to stand for up to 8 hours and lift up to 20 pounds. Must be able to stock and clean the store, both inside and outside.
