Job summary

Wawa is looking for a Customer Service Associate to greet customers, assist with food prep, and operate the register in a fast-paced environment. You will help keep shelves stocked, maintain cleanliness, and follow safety policies to ensure a welcoming store experience.

This role requires strong communication, reliability, and the ability to work well in a team. Eligible associates receive a competitive hourly wage and inclusive benefits.

Responsibilities

• Greet and engage with customers to ensure their needs are met quickly and courteously.
• Prepare food items such as breakfast items, build-to-order sandwiches, specialty beverages, and pizzas; keep coffee station clean and organized.
• Operate the cash register, handle payments, activate fuel and gift cards, assist with lottery and ID verification for age-restricted products.
• Ensure stores are well-stocked and shelves remain fresh, full, and inviting.
• Help keep stores clean and safe by following all established policies, procedures, and guidelines.
• Complete store housekeeping duties including cleaning, dusting, sweeping, mopping, emptying trash, and more.

What you’ll do:

• Greet and engage with customers to ensure their needs are met both quickly and courteously.

• Prepare food items such as our delicious breakfast items, built-to-order sandwiches, specialty beverages, and pizzas as well as keeping our coffee station clean and organized.

• Operate the cash register, handle payments, activate fuel and gift cards, as well as assist with lottery and ID verification for age‑restricted products.

The hourly range for this position is $15.50 - $19.25 and is commensurate with position, experience, and location. Associates in this position will receive a $1.50 shift differential for hours worked between 12am - 6am.
