Job summary

Salud Family Health is seeking a Customer Service Associate to provide a positive first impression for patients, check in/out, and support a team-based care approach. You will play a key role in self-management support and ensuring a smooth patient experience at Salud facilities.

The role requires strong communication, reliability, and comfort with medical terminology in a fast-paced clinic environment. Monday–Friday hours are typical, with occasional evenings.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited high school or GED is required.
• One year of front desk/customer service experience in a medical setting preferred.
• Proficient in clear, professional communication and teamwork.
• Ability to learn and follow complex policies and procedures, and handle duties under stress.

Responsibilities

• Greet and check in patients, manage appointments, and process payments.
• Answer questions, resolve patient concerns, and provide a positive first impression.
• Assist in scheduling and reminders, and support the care team as needed.
• Maintain accuracy and confidentiality in patient records and documentation.

Job Description

The Customer Service Associate (CSA) is responsible for creating a positive first impression, exhibiting excellent customer service, and promoting a pleasing experience for Salud patients. The CSA approaches his/her tasks in a team-based care fashion that supports patients and their families in self-management, self-efficacy, and behavior change.

• Starting Wage - $19.50to $21.50per hour
• Monday to Friday – 8:15 am to 5:15 pm
• Evening hours may occasionally be required

A Day in the Life of a Customer Service Associate (CSA) with Salud:

Your genuine spirit of caring welcomes patients as the first step prior to seeing the Doctor, NP, or PA. You may serve as a greeter, front desk receptionist, and/or cashier. You will welcomeall patients to Salud and checks them in for all appointment types, checking patients out at the end of an appointment. Make reminder calls, answer questions, manage patient complaints and so much more to ensure a positive experience for all of our patients.

Qualifications

Education:

• Graduation from an accredited high school or GED is required

Experience:

• One year of front desk/customer service experience in a medical setting preferred

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Must work well with the other patient care team members
• Ability to communicate clearly and appropriately with patients
• Professionalism and a positive attitude
• Proficient in Elementary Math

• Reading comprehension and writing skills
• Keyboarding and word processing skillsOne year of clerical office experience preferred
