Qualifications

• 5+ years of customer service and/or inside sales experience.
• Experience in manufacturing or product-driven environments preferred.
• Knowledge of vehicle makes and models required.
• Automotive industry experience strongly preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• QuickBooks experience is a plus.
• Strong organizational skills and dependability.
• Onsite work in a high-volume environment.

Responsibilities

• Handle high-volume inbound customer calls and outbound calls as needed.
• Assist B2B customers with product selection, orders, pricing, and information.
• Research vehicle makes, models, years, parts, and applications.
• Respond to questions about products, shipping, and orders.
• Enter customer data accurately into company systems.
• Build and maintain relationships with wholesale and distribution customers.
• Assist with custom and specialty product requests.

Job Summary

This is a fast-paced, phone-heavy role supporting primarily B2B customers with product questions, orders, pricing, vehicle applications, customization options, and shipping.

The company manufactures specialty automotive components for vehicles ranging from vintage models dating back to the 1940s through current models. The product line is extensive, so the ideal candidate will be comfortable learning technical products and researching vehicle makes, models, and applications.

Job Responsibilities

• Handle high-volume inbound customer calls and make outbound customer calls as needed.
• Assist B2B customers with product selection, orders, pricing, and product information.
• Research vehicle makes, models, model years, parts, and product applications.
• Respond to customer questions regarding products, customization, shipping, and order details.
• Enter customer account and order information accurately into company systems.
• Build and maintain relationships with recurring wholesale and distribution customers.
• Assist with custom and specialty product requests.
• Identify opportunities to market and sell products to existing and prospective customers.
• Assist customers at the will-call counter in a professional manner.
• Perform general office duties and support other areas of the office as needed.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of Customer Service and/or Inside Sales experience preferred.
• At least 3 years of experience in manufacturing, automotive components, parts, wholesale, distribution, or a similarly product-driven environment strongly preferred.
• Strong employment stability and long-term job tenure preferred.
• Knowledge of vehicle makes and models required.
• Automotive industry experience strongly preferred.
• Strong professional phone presence and customer communication skills.
• Ability to learn a large, technical product catalog.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office required.
• QuickBooks experience is a plus, particularly in a manufacturing or wholesale environment.
• Strong organizational skills, accuracy, dependability, and follow-through.
• Team-oriented attitude and willingness to assist across different office functions.
• Must be comfortable working onsite in a busy, high-volume environment.

Compensation & Benefits

• $50,000-$52,000 base compensation.
• Additional commission opportunity for employees who generate sales.
