Position Overview:
TAFCO is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Customer Service & Warranty Specialist to join our team. In this role, you'll be the frontline of support for our customers and retail partners, managing inquiries, resolving order issues, and overseeing the full lifecycle of warranty claims. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys problem-solving, and takes ownership of delivering a best-in-class customer experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Answer incoming calls and assist with:
    • Retailer and customer inquiries related to orders and order issues
    • Questions and concerns related to warranty claims
  • Manage the complete warranty claim process, including:
    • Processing new claims with attention to detail
    • Verifying claim validity and required documentation
    • Communicating with customers to collect missing or additional information
    • Coordinating with retail partners to place warranty orders
    • Communicating claim decisions clearly and professionally
  • Provide support to the order processing team when needed
  • Collaborate with and support the Director of Customer Operations on special projects or initiatives
Requirements

Who You Are:

  • An excellent communicator (both written and verbal), with a strong customer-focused mindset
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple tasks and follow up effectively
  • A self-starter who can work independently and take full ownership of processes
  • Detail-oriented with good judgment and a proactive approach to problem-solving
  • Comfortable working in a team-oriented, fast-paced environment

Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of experience in a customer service, warranty, or order processing role (manufacturing or distribution environment preferred)
  • Familiarity with warranty claim procedures is a plus
  • Familiarity with the window industry and products is a plus
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and comfortable learning internal systems
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education or certifications a plus
