As a Customer Service and Warehouse Worker will perform tasks related to receiving, picking, packing and warehousing; act as focal point for a specific customer Warehouse operations focusing on facilitating and driving process enhancements and adherence to procedures and standards. .

As a Customer Service and Warehouse Worker, you will be responsible for:

  • Receiving, assigning location, and stocking incoming goods including updating ERP, managing stocking conditions, and allocation of goods.
  • Receiving materials from external suppliers and other Baker Hughes plants.
  • Processing Move Orders by picking materials, components, and end products and deliver them to required location
  • Preparing and pack goods for shipment
  • Preparing all the necessary paperwork such as Invoice, Packing List, Bill of Lading, and Certificate of Conformance
  • Collaborating on loading/unloading for shipping and receiving of goods
  • Supporting with goods organization within the warehouse
  • Collaborating in warehouse with reordering, inventory operations, and verification of stock and performing cycle counts
  • Collaborating with material planners and logistic specialists, to drive and ensure the completeness and timeliness of customer material deliveries
  • Perform visual inspection to ensure material received from the suppliers and delivered to Customers adhere to the required quality standards

To be successful in this role you will:

  • Have a High School Diploma or equivalent diploma and 3+ yrs of experience in warehousing
  • Knowledge of procedures for warehousing (including expertise in the correct positioning and fixing of the goods) and movement of goods
  • Be organized, detail oriented and methodical and team oriented
  • Ability to manage warehouse documentation
  • Able to operate forklifts and other material moving equipment
  • Ability to follow directions and work well in a team environment.
  • Ability to effectively interface with internal and external customers at various levels of management
  • Knowledge of Oracle Applications & associated tools
  • Ability to react to situations with a sense of urgency
  • The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 35 lbs
  • Have a good quality and HSE mindset approaching processes and procedures in a warehouse environment
