Job summary

Tisun Beauty is seeking a friendly Retail Associate for our Charlotte-area stores. You will greet customers, ring up purchases, handle payments, and explain promotions while keeping a fast, accurate checkout.

You bring basic math, reliability, and strong communication. Prior customer service is preferred; growth opportunities and employee discounts are available in a supportive team environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Basic math, attention to detail, and comfort learning retail technology.
• Professional communication and reliable attendance; one year of customer service experience preferred.
• Ability to maintain accuracy while handling a busy checkout line and customer questions.
• Sound judgment when handling payments, customer information, and requests requiring approval.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and accurately scan, total, and process purchases.
• Handle cash and electronic payments using established register procedures.
• Explain promotions and return policies; obtain approval for exceptions.
• Process authorized returns, bag purchases, and maintain an orderly checkout area.
• Protect customer information, report discrepancies, and refer concerns to a supervisor.
• Verify item prices and obtain assistance for missing barcodes, price differences, or restricted transactions.
• Count assigned register funds and complete required reconciliation steps as authorized.
• Keep receipts and transaction records organized and follow procedures for voids and refunds.
• Assist customers with basic store information and connect them with the right department.

The opportunity

Create a friendly first and last impression for Tisun Beauty customers. You will provide accurate checkout service and help customers with questions, purchases, and returns. Accuracy matters as much as speed. You will keep checkout moving while ensuring customers understand their purchases, payments, and return options. When an issue requires approval, you will involve the appropriate supervisor and communicate the next step clearly.
