Job Description

This role requires at least 3 years of customer service or contact center experience. The position is fully remote and open to candidates in CONUS, AK, and HI. California is a specifically excluded hiring location. A background check is required, and equipment is provided.

Work Schedule: 0600 to 2200 Hrs PST, Monday to Saturday, with rotational shifts based on performance. The pay rate is $17 per hour. This is a W2 position with multiple openings.

The Customer Service Agent / Representative (CSR) will handle customer inquiries via phone, email, chat, and other channels. Responsibilities include providing support on inquiries related to the MDE process and Veteran portal, using various software applications, and accurately documenting interactions. Additional duties may include scheduling and information verification.

Key Tasks
  • Answer inbound calls and inquiries through various channels in a courteous and professional manner.
  • Make outbound calls as needed.
  • Resolve or escalate customer inquiries promptly.
  • Encourage electronic communication with customers.
  • Document interactions accurately in CRM systems.
  • Follow SOPs, policies, and maintain quality standards.
  • Adhere to attendance guidelines and work schedule, including weekends and holidays.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Minimum Education and Experience

High School diploma or GED required; degree preferred. At least 3 years of customer service or contact center experience. Must be able to read, speak, and write English fluently, with strong listening, typing, and organizational skills. Ability to work as part of a team is essential.
