Job summary

Blast Cleaning Technologies, Inc. is seeking a detail-oriented Customer Service Admin to support inside and outside sales teams, process inquiries and parts orders, and ensure accurate documentation in the ERP system.

You will prioritize tasks, monitor stock, coordinate with sales and production teams, and help maintain safety and quality standards while delivering excellent service. Strong communication and MS Office/ERP skills are required; manufacturing experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Processes inquiries for parts, service, and new equipment; creates/revises proposals in ERP from emails, phone calls, and notes.
  • Processes purchase orders from internal and external customers.
  • Provides order acknowledgments to customers.
  • Monitors stock levels and communicates status to the team.
  • Prioritizes daily tasks and owns quote/order processes.
  • Participates in training and continuous improvement activities.
  • Ensures completion and maintenance of paperwork and records.
  • Upholds safety rules and PPE requirements; supports company culture and values.

Job description

Under the direction of the Customer Service Supervisor, the Customer Service Admin processes inquiries and parts orders generated by the inside and outside sales teams. This person must have a strong attention to detail as well as the ability to interact with others in the organization to resolve problems. Individuals must always provide a high degree of customer service.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

This list of duties and responsibilities is not all-inclusive and may be expanded to include other duties and responsibilities as management may deem necessary from time to time.

  • Processes inquiries for parts, service, and new equipment. Creates and revises proposals in ERP system from emails, phone calls, and hand-written notes
  • Processes purchase orders received from internal and external customers
  • Provides order acknowledgment to customers
  • Monitors low stock and out-of-stock critical parts and communicates status to customer service team
  • Prioritize daily tasks and show ownership of quote and order process
  • Participates in all training and continuous improvement activities
  • Other duties as assigned.
  • Ensure the completion and maintenance of all required paperwork, documentation, files, records, etc.

Education and/or Experience
  • Requires High School Diploma or GED.
  • 1-2 years of experience in a customer service/office setting. Manufacturing experience or data entry is a plus.
  • Previous experience with Epicor (ERP System) and Salesforce (CRM System) strongly preferred.
