Job summary

Applied Industrial Technologies is hiring a full-time Customer Sales & Service Representative at our Crystal, MN service center. You'll support our sales team and customers with professional, timely service.

In this role you will partner with customers and the outside sales team to find products, answer inquiries, and build lasting business relationships. Typical compensation is $18.00–$21.00/hr with bonus opportunities and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of customer service, inside sales, mechanical or maintenance experience is required.
• Hydraulic experience is preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Solve customer inquiries, prepare quotes, process/expedite orders & returns.
• Source parts from suppliers nationwide.
• Assist in generating sales by upselling, adding on, & educating customers.
• Assemble hoses for walk-in customers.
• Help in the stockroom & deliver orders to customers as needed.

What you'll do:

In our fast‑paced team environment, you will partner with our customers and outside sales team to find products and services, solve customer needs, and build ongoing positive business relationships.

• Solve customer inquiries, prepare quotes, process/expedite orders & returns

• Assist in generating sales by upselling, adding on, & educating customers

• Help in the stockroom & deliver orders to customers as needed

Qualifications & Skills:

• 1+ year customer service, inside sales, mechanical or maintenance experience required. Hydraulic experience preferred
• High school diploma, GED or equivalent required
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office & data entry software
• Attention to detail, time management, organization, & communication
• Valid driver's license & clean driving record (MVR)

In accordance with applicable wage transparency law requirements, the typical estimated total compensation for this position is $18.00-$21.00/hr depending on experience, including potential bonus opportunities. Bonus amounts can be tied to company, location and/or individual performance, but no specific amount is guaranteed.
