Job summary

Trane Technologies is seeking a customer-focused outside/inside sales professional to support customers, resolve issues, and drive sales for Parts and Supply offerings. The role involves both phone and in-person interactions with a focus on timely fulfillment and outstanding service.

You will stay updated on Trane products and promotions to deliver a premier customer experience and build lasting relationships, with opportunities to contribute to warehouse and inventory tasks as needed.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED required.
• Inside sales, retail, or related experience.
• Experience in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment emphasizing service, improvement and safety.

Responsibilities

• Provide support to customers and resolve problems to ensure satisfaction.
• Partner with customers to grow sales by identifying related products or add-on extensions.
• Process customer orders and respond to inquiries, questions, or complaints regarding Parts and Supply offerings; provide solutions to ensure satisfaction and future sales.
• Keep current on Trane products, offerings, and promotions to deliver premier customer experience and drive sales.
• Interact with customers over the phone and in person.
• Execute quote and order management with accuracy to expedite fulfillment and delivery; enter quotes and invoices and follow through on fulfillment.
• Assist with warehouse/inventory management as needed.
• Maintain flexibility to work overtime/weekends as required.

What you will do:

• Provide support to customers and find the best method to resolve problems to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Partners with customers to grow sales by identifying related products or add on extensions.
• Process customer orders and respond to inquiries, questions or complaints regarding Parts and Supply offerings and offer solutions to ensure customer satisfaction and future sales.
• Keep current on knowledge of Trane Products, offerings, and promotions in order to provide a premier customer experience and drive sales.
• Interact with customers both on the phone and in person.
• Executes quote and order management processes with high level of accuracy to expedite the fulfillment process and ensure customer satisfaction and timely delivery - entering quotes and invoices and follow through on fulfillment.
• Assists with warehouse/inventory management work as needed.
• Flexibility to work overtime/weekends, as required.

What you will bring:

• H.S. Diploma or General Education Degree (GED).
• Inside sales, retail, or related experience.
• Experience in a fast-paced, customer focused environment with a focus on customer service, continuous improvement, and safety.
• Proven experience in building customer relationships and maintaining professional customer service even in challenging situations.

Annual Base Salary Range or Hourly Base Pay Range: $56,936.66 - $82,809.99
