Job summary

The Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company is hiring a Customer Sales Advisor at one of its Auto Service centers in Nashville, TN. You will gain hands-on experience by delivering outstanding service, building guest relationships, and promoting tire and service sales.

You will learn about warranties, promotions and become proficient in checking in, scheduling appointments, estimating time, and guiding guests through the service experience while maintaining a clean, safe workspace and supporting a team.

Qualifications

• Prior guest service experience.
• Valid driver's license.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• No relocation is being offered for this position.
• Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without company sponsorship now or in the future.
• Spanish speaking preferred (Bonus)

Responsibilities

• Help drive and reach sales goals through guest interactions including tire and service sales.
• Build guest relationships and ensure guest satisfaction through understanding their needs.
• Understand and be able to describe all warranties, advertising, and promotion of products and services.
• Take responsibility for guest interactions from initial experience through completed service, including checking in, scheduling appointment, accurately estimating time requirements, and checking out.
• Make recommendations to guests based on manufacturing recommendations.
• Promote self-development by utilizing Company provided training tools.
• Maintain a clean and safe work and guest area.
• Perform a variety of manual tasks for extended periods of time, including lifting tires and wheels, and staying active during shifts.

Responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:

Basic Qualifications:

• Prior guest service experience
• Valid driver's license
• Must be at least 18 years of age
• No relocation is being offered for this position
• Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without company sponsorship now or in the future

Preferred Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED
• Previous Automotive Guest Service experience
• Previous Tire Sales experience
• Spanish speaking preferred
