Job summary

Dempsey Uniform & Linen Supply is seeking a Route Service Representative to service the Towson and Owings Mills area, delivering exceptional customer care and expanding account business. You’ll manage deliveries across the Greater Baltimore area, build strong relationships, and identify opportunities to grow existing accounts.

The role emphasizes on-time service, accurate invoicing, inventory checks, and renewal of service agreements.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 22 years old.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Able to meet all pre-employment DOT physical requirements.
• Physically capable of lifting up to 75 pounds and transporting products to and from customer locations.
• Demonstrated customer service excellence, with strong problem-solving skills and the ability to build lasting relationships based on trust.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; a college degree is preferred. Additional training or education in sales or business is a plus.
• Must be able to comply with company appearance and dress code standards

What You’ll Do

Deliver Outstanding Service and Grow Customer Relationships

Manage and service your assigned route throughout the Towson and Owings Mills areas by providing exceptional support to existing customers while introducing tailored product solutions that help their businesses succeed. Leverage your customer service and sales skills to expand your route organically through upselling and cross-selling additional products and services.

Maintain Accurate Inventory and Account Management

Keep invoices organized and up to date while conducting routine inventory checks to ensure accuracy and efficiency. Identify opportunities to increase customer satisfaction by recommending products and services that align with their operational needs. Take initiative in renewing service agreements, building long-term partnerships, and contributing to continued revenue growth.

Commit to Safety and Operational Excellence

Perform all duties with professionalism and a strong focus on workplace safety. Adhere to all driving regulations, company policies, and operational procedures while representing Dempsey Uniform & Linen Supply on the road.

Represent the Brand with Pride

Serve as a trusted ambassador for Dempsey Uniform & Linen Supply by demonstrating integrity, professionalism, and exceptional customer care in every interaction.
