Job description

TruDiagnostic is revolutionizing personalized health through cutting-edge epigenetic testing. In partnership with world-leading institutions, we provide healthcare providers, individuals, and researchers with the critical insights needed to take proactive steps toward better health and groundbreaking discoveries.

At TruDiagnostic, we are driven by a deep passion for a future where aging is understood, health is optimized, and lives are truly transformed. If you’re eager to make a meaningful impact and help people live healthier, longer, more vibrant lives, we invite you to join our mission and be part of something truly extraordinary.

Position Overview

We’re looking for a highly technical and proactive CRM Contractor who will own the execution, monitoring, and optimization of all things email and marketing automation. This role sits at the intersection of data, creative strategy, and technical operations — ensuring every message we send is smart, segmented, and seamless.

You’ll partner closely with the Director of Digital Marketing, serving as their technical counterpart. While they drive overall strategy, content, and brand direction, you’ll bring the analytical and operational expertise — translating ideas into data-backed tests, optimized flows, and measurable outcomes. Together, you’ll refine campaigns, analyze performance trends, and continuously experiment to push engagement and conversion to new heights.

This role goes beyond building emails — it’s about continually improving them. You’ll be the technical backbone of our email program, ensuring flawless deployment while identifying new ways to enhance performance. You’ll keep a close eye on key metrics, flag opportunities when engagement shifts, and collaborate with leadership to test, learn, and refine quickly.

You’ll be the go‑to email expert across our organization. When something breaks, this is who we call. When we’re launching a new campaign, this is who we strategize with.

If you thrive on both solving complex problems and driving performance through data‑driven creativity, this is your role.

Key Responsibilities
Technical CRM Ownership
  • Serve as the primary administrator and expert in Klaviyo — managing all flows, campaigns, and integrations.
  • Troubleshoot email delivery, segmentation, and automation issues across DTC and B2B audiences.
  • Investigate and resolve data mismatches or logic errors by interfacing with internal databases and engineering teams.
  • Build, test, and QA automated email logic for drip sequences, behavioral triggers, and transactional flows.
  • Update and manage HTML/CSS for custom email templates, layouts, and content blocks.
  • Audit data pipelines and ensure contact syncing and tagging integrity across platforms.
  • Maintain performance dashboards within Klaviyo or Looker/Data Studio, monitoring deliverability, open, click‑through, and conversion metrics daily and weekly.
  • Diagnose underperforming campaigns, create hypotheses, and rapidly deploy A/B or multivariate tests to validate improvements.
Strategic Email Partner
  • Act as the right hand to the Director of Email Marketing, helping develop and execute CRM strategies that drive acquisition and retention.
  • Support campaign planning for key moments (e.g., product launches, lifecycle re‑engagement) — advising on segmentation, send cadence, and creative best practices.
  • Suggest strategic audience segmentation and frequency testing to optimize engagement and deliverability.
  • Leverage A/B testing and analytics to identify high‑performing content formats, CTAs, headlines, and design structures.
  • Proactively recommend improvements to flows and campaigns based on performance insights.
Cross‑Functional Collaboration
  • Partner closely with design and copy teams to advise, QA, and deploy emails that align with brand voice and performance best practices.
  • Work with engineering and data teams to ensure accurate event tracking and audience logic.
  • Field and resolve CRM‑related issues from research, healthcare provider, or DTC teams.
  • Document troubleshooting steps, campaign logic, and key learnings for team visibility.
Qualifications
Required
  • 3–5+ years of experience in CRM, email marketing, or marketing automation.
  • Deep experience in Klaviyo.
  • Strong understanding of HTML, CSS, and responsive email design.
  • Proven experience managing data‑driven segmentation and personalization.
  • Ability to troubleshoot complex logic flows and data sync issues across systems.
  • Analytical mindset — comfortable using reporting dashboards, metrics, and testing frameworks to drive decisions.
  • Excellent project management and communication skills — able to partner across departments.
  • Bonus: Familiarity with database querying (SQL) or ability to work with engineers to diagnose technical issues
