Job summary

Woodward, Inc. is seeking a Customer Quality Engineer II/III to drive quality assurance and APQP activities across new product introductions. You will lead RCCAs with cross-functional teams, perform DFMEA/PFMEA analyses, and ensure compliance with AS9145 standards while delivering high-quality, compliant products.

Ideal candidates bring aerospace quality experience, strong analytical skills, and the ability to mentor others in quality practices, process improvements, and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Technology related field.
  • 3-5 years in Aerospace Quality or regulated manufacturing, technology related field.
  • Previous experience in customer-facing role, leading RCCAs with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

  • Quality Assurance Execution: Implements and monitors quality assurance processes to ensure product standards are met.
  • Problem Analysis: Identifies and resolves quality issues by analyzing data and applying technical judgment.
  • Team Mentorship: Provides informal guidance to new team members to enhance quality protocols.
  • Cross Functional Collaboration: Works with engineering, production, and other departments to improve product quality.
  • Quality Reporting: Documents and communicates quality metrics and improvement recommendations.
  • Risk Management: Identifies potential quality risks and mitigates within project parameters.
