Job summary

CITY Furniture, Inc. is hiring a Customer Pickup Associate to assist customers with loading purchased merchandise into their vehicles and logging orders for pickup.

You will support the Operations team in a fast-paced distribution center and ensure safe, efficient loading processes. The role emphasizes customer service, teamwork, and reliability, with a pay rate of $16.25/hr and a schedule that includes weekends.

Qualifications

• No high-school diploma required.
• No previous experience required.
• Flexible days between 10:00am - 9:00pm (including weekends).
• 0% travel required.
• Physical requirements: lifting up to 75lbs+, bending, standing and walking.
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel/Word/Outlook).
• WMS – High Jump is preferred but not required; AS400 and Director are optional.

Responsibilities

• Loads product into customer vehicles using proper loading techniques to minimize damages.
• Stages, scans, and examines products pulled for Customer Pick Up.
• Logs and releases all Customer Pickup orders and manages movement of goods in the DC.
• Coordinates movement of sold clearance products.
• Assists in other departments within the distribution center as needed.
• Operates an order picker and tugger safely around the warehouse.
