Job summary

Adirondack Trust Company seeks an Operations Associate to assist customers with account questions by phone and in-branch support, delivering a positive, confidential service experience.

You will gain knowledge of all aspects of the Operations department to help customers and uphold privacy. Responsibilities include processing debit card applications, resolving disputes, and handling deposit-related tasks with accuracy and timeliness.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Extremely organized and methodical.
• Strong listening and communication abilities recommended.

Responsibilities

• Handles customer inquiries by phone and through the branches about checking, savings, debit cards, wires, overdrafts, stop payments, account errors and fraudulent transactions.
• Processes debit card applications and creates cards on site for customer pick up.
• Provides a good customer experience and remains calm to diffuse difficult situations.
• Possesses knowledge of Deposit Operations reports to provide accurate information to customers.
• Delivers all customer requests accurately and timely.
• Processes prenotes, HSA, stop payment and other deposit operation reports as needed.
• Processes debit card disputes and fraud cases.
• Other duties may be assigned.
