Job summary

Stryker Corporation is seeking a Data Analyst intern to partner with the sales team, analyze hospital data, and deliver actionable insights across healthcare organizations. You will build reports and dashboards, validate datasets, and support customer analyses to drive business outcomes.

Ideal candidates are pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree, with a 3.0+ GPA, and strong communication and leadership skills. The internship offers exposure to leaders, mentoring, and a culture of innovation.

Qualifications

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a related field; must remain enrolled in a degree-seeking program after the internship.
  • Cumulative 3.0 GPA or above (verified at time of hire)
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. and not require sponsorship now or in the future.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with proven ability to collaborate and build relationships
  • Demonstrated leadership, problem-solving, and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and eagerness to learn in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

  • As a Data Analyst, you will work closely with our sales team, sales leadership, and customers to identify, organize, and analyze hospital data and performance metrics.
  • In this role, you will execute reporting and analytical activities while developing a strong understanding of the business unit, department processes, and customer needs.
  • Sales: Provide reporting, content, and tools that increase sales productivity and effectiveness while streamlining processes and metrics.
  • Data Governance: Help deliver trusted, high-quality data that enables scalability, process excellence, and improved partner experiences.
  • Data Intelligence - Develop dashboards and visualizations of internal datasets that support informed decision-making across business units and for customers.

As a Data Analyst

you will work closely with our sales team, sales leadership, and customers to identify, organize, and analyze hospital data and performance metrics. These insights help demonstrate the clinical and financial impact of our solutions and interventions across healthcare organizations. In this role, you will execute reporting and analytical activities while developing a strong understanding of the business unit, department processes, and customer needs. Responsibilities include building reports and dashboards, preparing and validating datasets, conducting quality reviews, supporting customer analyses, and responding to routine data requests. The ideal candidate is curious, detail-oriented, and able to translate data into meaningful insights that support business and customer objectives.

Sales: Provide reporting, content, and tools that increase sales productivity and effectiveness while streamlining processes and metrics. Data Governance: Help deliver trusted, high-quality data that enables scalability, process excellence, and improved partner experiences. Data Intelligence - Develop dashboards and visualizations of internal datasets that support informed decision-making across business units and for customers.

What You Need
  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a related field; must remain enrolled in a degree-seeking program after the internship.

Compensation & Benefits
  • $20 min hourly wage - $35 max hourly wage, sign-on bonus, 11 paid holidays annually, and either paid corporate housing or a living stipend, dependent upon hiring location
  • Travel Percentage: 10%

Work Flexibility
  • Remote - Role allows you to work the majority to 100% of time from an alternate workplace. These roles could have travel expectations, and you must work within the country of the job requisition location.
  • Field-based - You can expect to regularly work a majority to 100% of time at customer facilities and has a set territory or expectation to travel within a set boundary. Almost all sales roles would likely be qualified as field-based.
  • Onsite - Role is 100% located at a Stryker facility. Some ad hoc flexibility may be available depending on role, level, and job requirements. Manufacturing roles and any role that requires physical presence at the office would qualify under this category.
  • Hybrid - You can expect to regularly work in both an alternate workplace and a Stryker facility. Roles that are partially remote or co-located would qualify as hybrid, and the expectation to be onsite would be defined and agreed upon by your manager/supervisor.
